PRINTlish is an updated 2025 version of the now-obsolete Printto-lang, which was released back in 2020. The language was initially designed to be used with vocal-synth voicebanks that support Thai phonemes. Printto-lang was discontinued because it was difficult to use, due to the lack of syllable count in converting between English and Printto-lang. PRINTlish was developed with syllable count in mind and has simplified grammar.
